1. What is a copier lease?
A copier lease is a contractual agreement where you rent a copier or multifunction printer (MFP) for a set period (usually 12 to 60 months) instead of purchasing it outright.

3. How long is a typical lease term?
Most lease terms range from 12 to 60 months. Longer terms generally have lower monthly payments, but shorter terms allow for more frequent equipment upgrades.
4. What’s included in the lease?
Typically, a lease includes:
The copier or MFP
Delivery and installation
Scheduled maintenance
Repairs and replacement parts
Toner and consumables
5. What happens at the end of the lease term?
You usually have three options:
Return the copier to leasing company
Renew the lease
Purchase the copier at fair market value
6. Can I upgrade my copier during the lease?
Yes, many lease agreements allow you to upgrade your equipment before the lease ends. Conditions may apply depending on the remaining lease term and equipment value.
7. Is service and maintenance included?
Yes. copier leases include a service agreement that covers:
Regular maintenance
Repairs, renewable parts
Technical support
IT support for printing drivers installation remotely
Toner and supplies except papers.
8. What happens if the copier breaks down?
If the lease includes a maintenance agreement, a technician will be dispatched to repair the copier at no additional charge.
9. Are there any hidden fees?
No. Unless the following:
Moving office required relocation/ re-installation fees
Required Non-Printer related troubleshoot e.g Setting up new/existing local network, PCs, router, installing Microsoft Window, outlook, configure email server and all non-Printer installation requirement may incurred extra cost for IT on-site.
Require to check on-site for non-Printer matters such as electricity connection, wall plug not working, LAN point no signal, Telco(Singtel/Starhub/MyRepublic) no signal, personal in-house 1-1 training.
10. How soon can I get the copier after signing the lease contract?
Delivery usually takes 1 to 5 business days, depending on availability and your location.
11. Can I cancel my lease early?
Early termination is possible, but it may involve penalties or paying the remaining balance.
12. What types of copiers can I lease?

Black & white or color copiers
Multifunction printers (print, scan, copy, fax)
High-volume production copiers
13. Who is responsible for returning the copier at the end of the lease?
The lesser (leasing company) is responsible for packaging and returning the copier.
